Immunity Blend Tea for Boosted Health

Yu Ping Feng San, or as we call it "Immunity Blend" has been used in East Asia for over 800 years.

As its name illustrates, Immunity Blend supports and enriches the immune system in guarding against harmful influences entering the body. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), this Immunity Blend is prescribed to address an aversion to drafts and wind, such as allergies and the common cold. TCM holds that the benefits of this formula include stabilizing the exterior and stopping sweating, and modern applications with the traditional goal of strengthening the body against allergens, bacteria & viruses.

When to take Immunity Blend

We highly recommend this formula to people who struggle with allergies, parents of school-age children, teachers, healthcare workers, and individuals that tend to get sick often. This blend is also safe for children, teens & college-bound youth. The Immunity Blend use may also provide mood-related benefits. While we are usually compelled to evaluate herbal immunity preparations solely based on whether or not we remain well while taking them, in the case of our Immunity Blend, people often report feeling more relaxed and focused.

Immunity Blend Ingredients & Actions

This simple formula incorporates three herbs to support healthy immune function.

Pieces of Astragulus / Huang Qi on a white background

Astragalus root (Huang Qi) is neutral and sweet, and it supplements spleen qi to help promote lung and digestive health. Astragalus has been shown to modulate immune function to benefit acute conditions (yu ping feng san research) and is used as adjunctive therapy in many chronic conditions.

Pieces of Bai Zhu / Atracylodes on a white background

Atractylodes (Bai Zhu), is warm, sweet, and bitter, strengthens spleen qi, and drains dampness. considered a tonic herb, which means it is believed to have the ability to strengthen and invigorate the body. It is also believed to have a variety of other health benefits, including improving digestion, reducing inflammation, and boosting the immune system.

Pieces of Fang Feng / Siler root on a white background

Siler root (Fang Feng) is pungent and sweet, and it releases the exterior to dispel wind, dampness, and cold. Siler root is an herb used to treat colds, fever, inflammation, and many other ailments. It is also believed to have anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and is used to treat a variety of skin conditions
